Hope you have setteled down well back in the uk. I am from Changchun and have lived in the uk for 9 yrs. I was shocked by what you have experienced in Changchun and felt sorry for you. But I can see you are enjoying using chinese language and I hope you have found some use of your language skills.

Unfortunately it’s not so useful in the UK. In terms of employment thre is just such little demand for the language (you’re much better off speaking German, French or Spanish in terms of jobs). Good for kudos, that’s about it!
